Mad For Modernism

The 90's are officially back with a bang. It's around every corner coming through to fashion , furniture, jewellery and Interior design. Postmodernism has made a huge comeback through these mediums , and I am very happy to see it.

Post modern interiors in the 90's were all about abstract patterns , mixed with geometric shapes, abstract sculpture pieces and clean lines. It was often a gallery like aesthetic with white walls but with splashes of vibrant artwork & geometric furniture pieces.

cushions from Kirkby Design, rug from The Rug Company , lighting from Heathfield, coffee table by Brabbu.

I'ts styling has Art Deco influences , but with a more abstract aesthetic. Product designers have stayed truly authentic to this style with their latest collections, and it really shows.

Don't be afraid to stand out from the crowd, Your home should be a reflection of you, don't be afraid to take risks with your interior and let your surroundings inspire you, bold is beautiful <3
